History
Founded in April 2000 by experienced marine surveyor Steve Moyle, and joined by administrative assistant Catherine Williams, Moyle Marine Surveyors have steadily grown into one of the more well recognised surveying companies in the New Zealand surveying sector. Joined by Blake Moyle in 2008, the company has a shown the ability to grow and keep customers satisfied with survey outcomes even in times when shipping margins are coming under pressure.

Blake Moyle
Blake has been working in this and around The Ports of Auckland for over 20 years. He has performed surveying operations for roll-on-roll-off vessels, overseen break-bulk discharges, supervised project cargo loading/discharge, as well as helping to manage elements of major claims for customers around the port.
More recently Blake has overseen Moyle Marine Surveyors operations involving imported vehicle surveys where he has developed the Cloud Based Android application, CarSurv, on which they now perform all vehicle checks as they come through the Ports of Auckland.

Steve Moyle
With over 30 years experience Steve has become a stalwart of the New Zealand marine industry. Over this time he has worked with major imports and exports of almost every kind imaginable. He's been involved in full supply-chain reviews for major New Zealand exporters, as well as managing and mitigating his way through several thousand marine cargo related insurance claims.
Steve is available to some of his long-standing clients and is available for consultancy work on occasion.

Cathy was the first employee of the Moyle Marine team back in 2000, she has quietly been keeping things moving in the background and helping out with wharf surveys as required.
